Bloomy's Pediatric Dentistry
Patient Review
We have had only good experiences with Bloomy's. Our 4 year old had several cavities and needed a tooth pulled. Our family dentist refused to see him without putting him under for x-rays and then again at a later date for treatment. Dr. Heatrice and her staff were so helpful. They got us in quickly for the first visit. They created an environment where my kiddo had a chance to warm up to the experience and allowed us to be by his side for everything (very cautious kid). They explained what we should expect as parents and explained to our kiddo what he should expect-no surprises. She explained that following the tooth being pulled, we would likely have a hard time with the 2nd visit. She gave us strategies to try to help between those visits and helped us work though that rough visit and set the stage for a successful next visit. Over the 5 or so visits to address his issues, she helped us all focus on the positive and successful moments to help build a good experience out of something that could have been traumatic. Everyone in the office is so kind and encouraging to the kids and parents. My husband and I thought we had been doing a good job with our kids oral hygiene, so we came into all of this feeling so bad that we had let our kid down and let his teeth get so bad. But there was no judgment from the staff, just education, encouragement and helpful resource. I feel like the staff all works well together and manages to be professional while keeping things friendly and fun for the kids. There are other pediatric dentists closer to us, but it was well worth the 30 minute drive to come to Bloomy's!

We absolutely love Dr. Heatrice and her team! From the moment you walk in, the office is bright, beautifully decorated, and always immaculate. The welcoming front desk staff immediately make you feel at ease — and the adorable kids’ door that little ones get to walk through is such a fun touch! We’ve been seeing Dr. Heatrice since before she opened her own practice, and she has always been incredible with our kids. Harper and Bennett actually jump into the chair excited to get their teeth cleaned or worked on — something I never thought I’d say about a dentist visit! What I appreciate most is that Dr. Heatrice never forces treatment if a child is uncomfortable. She takes her time, explains everything, and makes sure every experience builds trust instead of fear. Because of that, my kids genuinely enjoy going to the dentist and have no anxiety about future visits. This office is truly a gem — warm, professional, and built with kids in mind. I can’t recommend Dr. Heatrice and her team enough!

Superb experience with Ackeilia K. Heatrice, DDS practice. My kid loves the smaller door for kids when you enter inside for your appointment. They have a waiting room area with activities to keep kids occupied while waiting to be seen, although, the wait was just a few minutes for us. They have a hanging tv on the ceiling and for my kid was a big win, since we barely do screens, so the technician was able to do the cleaning without issues. XRays went smooth, technician was very professional giving directions and patient. Dr. Ackeilia K. Heatrice was amazing! Great energy, knowledgeable and gave me suggestions for my specific child findings. At the end of the visit, she gives your kid a coin to get a price on a machine. As a parent, with all our daily battles with our kids, finding gems like a great smooth kid's dentist appointment feel like a blessing.

The dentist and her team are absolutely fantastic. We relocated from out of state so I was nervous for a new office since my daughter is only 3.5 and dentists are scary for them as it is, but they are pros at making little kids as comfortable as possible.
